Turmeric Ginger Banana Smoothie -Anti-Anxiety

This smoothie is not only delicious but also packed with anxiety-reducing ingredients that help calm the mind and body naturally:

  • Turmeric: Contains curcumin, a powerful anti-inflammatory compound that may help reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression by supporting brain health and reducing inflammation.
  • Ginger: Known to calm the nervous system, ginger can soothe physical symptoms of anxiety such as nausea and an upset stomach.
  • Bananas: Rich in magnesium and vitamin B6, bananas help regulate mood and reduce anxiety by supporting healthy brain function.
  • Greek Yogurt: Packed with probiotics, Greek yogurt promotes a healthy gut-brain connection. Since gut health is linked to mental health, the probiotics may help lower anxiety levels.
  • Chia Seeds: These are rich in omega-3 fatty acids and fiber, which have been shown to have calming effects on the brain and help stabilize mood.

Ingredients:

  • 1 small ripe banana (use half if you want to lower the carbs further)
